RUNNING UP THAT HILL
Say, if I only could
I'd be runnin’ up that hill
With no problems
Spotlights on, volume up.
The actors are getting ready for their grandiose musical theatre performance. But obstacles throw themselves up. What should they do, now that the stage turns out not to be suitable for everyone? What if the solution for one actor, is actually an obstacle for another? And how do they deal with all the curious glances towards the stage, which may not see past the first impression? RUNNING UP THAT HILL is a performance full of questions, sound, humour and fresh perspectives on being ‘out of tune’. A plea for new standards in a world that does not cater to everyone.
Come on, come on, darlin’
