Speels Collectief has made three short films about intimacy and sexuality in autumn 2021. In these intimate films, people meet each other in their search for mutual contact. In each film, we see a player with and a player without disabilities. A crossover between dance and theatre come together in the medium of film. The three films are:

PERFECT FIT is a portrait of two very different women. Both long for intimacy. But what if you don't completely coincide with anyone? What if no one fits exactly?

TURN OFF THE LIGHTS
Suppose you desire, fantasise, and want very much, but your body does not cooperate. Suppose every intimate moment can be abruptly interrupted by care staff, by schedules and timetables, by the realities of everyday life. In TURN OFF THE LIGHTS, we look at dreams of lust, of pleasure, and of a body that can and does do anything.

TAKE CARE
TAKE CARE is an intimate encounter between mother and son. A dance film about becoming independent and remaining dependent, about wanting or having to care for each other. About what it means to be connected and vulnerable.
