A collection of stories from an inclusive ensemble. About wanting to become independent and remaining dependent. About wanting or needing to care for each other. About what it means to be connected. About family. What does ‘house, tree, beast’ mean?
A dance theatre performance about big, small, beautiful and difficult families, for the whole family.
This performance was created by new creator Elena Foster under the guidance of Sanne Arbouw. Elena graduated from the dance teacher training programme at ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem.
This is a performance by New Makers at Speels Collectief. Within the New Makers programme, fourth-year art school students work with a diverse group of performers to create their own performance. This gives them the chance to develop their maker skills and specialise as inclusive theatre or dance makers.
