In WIJ DOEN ALLEMAAL OOK MAAR WAT, the viewer gets a glimpse inside the four walls of a family looking for the perfect picture. We see a mother who won't agree to anything less than that. How can you thrive as a human being in a home that puts the judgement of the outside world on top?
In text, movement and music, WIJ DOEN ALLEMAAL OOK MAAR WAT questions the norm of the perfect family.
In this performance, student Jools Philips of the Docent Theater course (Fontys Tilburg) shows what she has been working on with the Production Group of Community Tilburg for the past six months. Within Speels Collectief's talent development programme, young teachers create a show moment, giving them a chance to grow their craftsmanship.

This performance is directed by creator Jools Philips (third-year Teacher of Theatre Fontys) and artistically supervised by Merel van Lieshout.
Within Speels Collectief's talent development maker programme, young makers create an artistic work. Third- and fourth-year art school students work with a diverse group of performers on their own performance or theatrical research. This gives them the opportunity to develop their maker skills and grow into inclusive theatre or dance makers. They are artistically guided by Merel van Lieshout and dance teacher Ella de Coninck.
