The performance (W)ELKE HELD TELT? is an investigation into heroes and what standard our society sets for heroes. What does a hero have to meet according to our society? Do we know people around us whom we count as heroes? And could we possibly be heroes ourselves? In this thesis research, you will see a search for the meaning of heroes, and for the hero in ourselves and the people around us.
Merlin Munster. She is a student Teaching Theatre at Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg.
This is a performance by New Makers at Speels Collectief. Within the New Makers programme, fourth-year art school students work with a diverse group of performers to create their own performance. This gives them the chance to develop their maker skills and specialise as inclusive theatre or dance makers.
