YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE
We are in a society where we are expected to give more, do more, work harder, persevere. In YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE, we look for rest. The moment between sleeping and waking. Twelve per cent of people can direct their dreams in this moment. In the performance, we take the audience into this moment, where you can choose how your dreams unfold.
Do you dare to linger in your sleep?
If you snooze you win.
Here's to a good night
Rest.
Lisanne Helwig and Steven van Oudshoorn. They graduated from the Music Theatre course at ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem.
This is a performance by New Makers at Speels Collectief. Within the New Makers programme, fourth-year art school students work with a diverse group of performers to create their own performance. This gives them the chance to develop their maker skills and specialise as inclusive theatre or dance makers.
