BEEFCAKE is a dance performance about masculinity and the question of what that means in our current society. A group of eleven performers shed light on different sides of masculinity and question masculine stereotypes. What does masculinity mean to the players as individuals? And what does it mean for the group?
Sterre Bijker en Mina Schneider. They are students Dance in Education at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem.
This is a performance by New Makers at Speels Collectief. Fourth-year art academy students work with a diverse group of performers on their own performance within the New Makers trajectory. This gives them the opportunity to develop their creative skills and to specialize as an inclusive theater or dance maker.
